How LASIK Works?

Question: How Lasik Works?

LASIK is a surgery used to correct vision problems to people suffering from myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.

The surgery is performed by cutting a small flap in the cornea to fold it and reach the tissue underneath.

The tissue in the cornea is etched with a special laser which do not damage the surrounding tissue.

After the fix, the flap is carefully repositioned back in the eye where remains in position by natural adhesion.

After a few days, the cornea heals and the vision problems are corrected.
